Jahangir Alam Akash: My dear golden Bangladesh please take my love and regards from Europe. I have been living since last one year as an exile in Europe. Today is 29 May, 2010. Exactly on this day in 2009 I was arrived in Deutschland. And on 28 May, 2009 I was compelled to leave my homeland for the safety of my life. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xzaCRYCkqs   https://jaakash.wordpress.com/ http://www.eurobangla.org/)
I don’t know how are the people of my loving Bangladesh now, really! I Hope, everything is all right there. The government has been banned a strong social media Face book in Bangladesh. Another TV station Channel 1 also shut down by the government. After my leaving of the country, at least five journalists have been killed (including Fothe Osmani and S I Mithu). Many other have been persecuted (one of them is F M Masum). From abroad, I feel very much pain in my heart for them.
I miss my working place Rajshahi, colleagues, friends, family members, journalism in Bangladesh, teachers & journalists (like dear Malay Bhowmic, Hasan Azizul Huq, Sanat Kumar Saha, SM Abu Bakor, AAMS Arefin Siddique, Muniruzzaman, Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Sohrab Hasan, Ahmed Jobaer etc ) as well as the beautiful and loving Bangladesh. I also miss my Rajshahi press club, the daily Sangbad, my friend William, young journalist friend Sumon and many others who are working in the fields of journalism and human rights. And also I miss my oppressed and voiceless people from my work area (Rajshahi region).
Hope, one day, peace will come there with prosperity, happiness and real democracy. In my exile life, I have security, peace but not the happiness. I hope also that, all the discrimination, corruptions, extra judicial killings, militancy-oppressions on the minority-indigenous, would be ended. My further hope is that, the trial of war criminals would be finished as per international norms and the real criminals of the war would be punished. Please pray for us.

The Human Rights Today Report: Face book (FB) as banned in Bangladesh. After Pakistan Bangladesh Government has taken same way. It is an attacked on the freedom of speech and freedom of thinking.
According to the bloggers, from today (29 May, 2010) no one can open Face Book account in Bangladesh. BTRC has blocked FB today. Before that, Hasina Government has shut down the private TV channel One on 27 April, 2010.
Recently some unethical pictures of Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has uploaded in the face book by someone. The concern people are seems that, for this reason the FB has blocked by the government. We oppose all kinds of bad or immoral activity in the social media. But that means is not the right way to banned a powerful social media. All the users are not guilty for uploading nude things. We think this decision is against the freedom of speech. Those who are responsible for providing nude picture they should punish. Government can identify them. Already one people has been arrested in this connection. So why the government did it? Who are the advisers of this government? We believe those were giving this type of advice actually they wouldn’t want good for this government.
On the other hand, still there is violating human rights. Even the so called crossfire (Extra judicial killings) going on. Though, the present Prime Minister has promised to stop it as their election manifesto. Just after coming to power they have given their commitment again and again. But now they have taken inside of the extra judicial killings. Total five journalists have been killed under the present government. Many minority (Hindu, Indigenous) people have been killed, raped, and evicted by the ruling party members. If you could visit to http://youtube.com/user/jaakashbd & https://jaakash.wordpress.com/ then you find many human rights violation (article and video) under the present Awami government regime. At least 80 BDRmen have been killed in torture in the custody after so-called mutiny.
Bangladesh national human rights commission is the still a backboneless organisation. Many young women have compelled to suicide after eve teasing. Other human rights violation is continue as we saw in the past regime (Both BNP-Jammat and Caretaker government). The trial of war criminals could be finish by this government, we couldn’t believe yet. Every where ruling party people are dominating inside of the administration that we have seen during BNP-Jammat period. The local government has been paralysed by this government. After all, every where has been establishing MPi’sm.
Here is mention that, before it the government has blocked You tube also in March, 2009.
